Bio:
When I was eight years old, I went to my elderly Italian G.P. in Chicago with a sore throat.  His name was Ignatius P. Lombardo. I remember he wore a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up revealing two big hairy forearms. After examining me, he sat down at his desk to write a prescription for an antibiotic. He suddenly stood up and walked back over to me. He took my two hands in his and studied them. He then commented that with my hands I could become a doctor. Years later I wondered how many young people had heard that same comment from him. It really didn't matter, though, because he convinced me that I had a destiny. That day I decided I wanted
to become a physician and to this day I am glad that I never wavered in that decision. I grew up in Chicago. After I finished my training at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, I moved to Florida to do my internship at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo. I never miss the cold weather.
My lovely wife Linda and I are fortunate to be watching our seven grandchildren growing up. They all live in the area and seem to be fascinated by my tinkering in the garage where I enjoy my carpentry work. Besides being "Pop pop," husband, father, woodworker and taking care of patients, I also enjoy teaching. I've been in practice since 1976 and have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of young osteopathic physicians. I've seen many of them become specialists in their chosen fields and some of them are consultants on my current patients. I consider it a tremendous privilege to be taking care of patients as their primary care provider. It's an all-encompassing responsibility that gives me the chance to do what I enjoy the most- helping people.

Bio:
I was born in Brooklyn, New York. Shortly thereafter, my parents whisked my brother and I to the small, picturesque village of  Brightwaters in Long Island, where I lived until I graduated high  school.  I received a B.A. in Psychology from Syracuse University and went off  to Medical School at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic  Medicine.   Then it was back to New York City to do my Internship in the U.S. Public Health Service. I finally saw the light and moved to Florida to do three years of specialty training in Internal Medicine in North Miami Beach, serving as the Chief Resident for the last two years. It was in South Florida where
I met Vicki, my wife for over 30 years.  Shortly thereafter, we decided Pinellas County was a great place to  settle down and have a family.  In addition to Medicine, I am a vocalist and keyboard player in Delusions of Grandeur, a local oldies rock and roll band. I also love  photography and have been active in several local photography clubs.

Bio:
I was raised in St Petersburg Florida by my wonderful Mother with my two siblings (triplets).
I graduated from St. Pete’s own Northeast High School. I then went off to college at the University
of Florida, where I spent 2 years majoring in medical sciences. I then moved back home to be with my ailing Grandmother, who along with my Mother raised my brother, sister, and I. After returning home I finished my Associates Degree in Nursing at Saint Petersburg College. As a Registered Nurse I worked in Emergency Medicine, where I stayed through out my nursing career. I then went back to school and finished my BS Nursing at the University of South Florida and went straight through to their Masters Program for Nursing. I finished my Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Degree in 2002 with a Masters Degree at the University of South Florida in Family Practice. My internships were in Pediatrics, Adult Medicine, Women’s Health, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice. I stayed in Emergency Medicine until I came to Oakhurst Medical and East Bay Medical Clinics in July of 2002.

I now live in Seminole. I am married to my beautiful wife and we have two growing boys. I enjoy water-sports, fishing, and hunting, the Buccaneers, Gators, USF Bulls, Lightning, and Rays. I enjoy all our local sports teams.  I especially enjoy raising my two boys and watching them try all their sports to find their niche.

Bio:
Born and raised in Pinellas County, Florida.  Actually I was born in Sun Coast Hospital, one of the few employees at Sun Coast to be able to say that.  High School at Seminole High, College at University of  Florida in Gainesville majoring in Psychology and Pre-Med.  Medical School down in South Florida, at Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine.  I have traveled to places such as Italy, Switzerland, France, England, Amsterdam, Chile.  Hobbies include many sports including running, mountain biking, tennis, soccer, climbing.   I've snow skied since 1994, learning how to snowboard in 2000,  and most recently telemark skiing.  I am married, and recently had my second child.  I've always considered myself lucky to have parents who encouraged me to reach whatever goal I chose.  I believe the good relationship I have with my family is what led me to stay and work in the same area in which I grew up. As far  as choosing Family Medicine - To be able to help one person with a  problem is fulfilling, but to have the chance to help their whole family as a unit, to make a real difference, in some ways becoming a part of their families, is life changing.  I consider it a blessing to have the opportunity to do this job every day.

Bio:
I was born in Denver, then moved to Florida when I was very young.
From Orlando to Gainesville, Ft. Lauderdale to Largo, I’ve lived in Florida now for nearly 30 years.
I graduated from Osceola High School in Kissimmee with plans on attending the US Air Force Academy, to which I was nominated for admission by my Congressman at that time.  As things turned out, I did not attend the Academy and eventually ended up in Gainesville attending the University of Florida where I obtained my Doctor of Pharmacy in 2001.

While in Gainesville, I met my future wife, Richele, who just happened to be my next door neighbor. Her father, Dr. Richard Kidd, introduced me to the principles of Osteopathic Medicine and offered to “show me the ropes” as I was completing my Pharmacy degree.  I was very intrigued and, as a result, matriculated into the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in
Ft. Lauderdale in the fall of 2001.  In 2003, we moved back to Largo where I completed my last two years of medical school followed by my Internship and Residency in Family Practice at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo.  During my final year of residency I served as Chief Administrative Resident at Sun Coast, while also serving as the Resident Representative to CEME on behalf of all Osteopathic training sites in the SE United States affiliated with Nova Southeastern University.  I have been with the practice since completing my residency and don’t plan on going anywhere else!

In what little spare time I have, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our daughter.  I also like to participate in sports, including basketball, tennis, golf, softball, snow skiing and table tennis.
We love to travel and frequently take advantage of the many leisure activities the regional weather affords us.  I’m a die-hard Gator fan and enjoy rooting for the Bucs on Sundays

I am a multi-generation Floridian and was born and raised in St. Petersburg. I have known since a small child that my career choice would be in nursing. I graduated from Adirondack Southern School, a small private school, and then became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1977. I worked here for Dr Clarkson and Dr. Kidd for several years. I then continued my education by completing my Associate Degree in Nursing at St. Petersburg College, and my Bachelor of Science
in Nursing at Florida State University. In 2005, I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Masters Degree in Nursing, as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. I have worked most of my nursing career in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, and Cardiology. I am happy to return home here to Oakhurst Medical Clinic.  I have been married to my wonderful husband for 35 years and we have a loving 24 year old son. Our family loves to boat, fish, dive and spearfish. On weekends we enjoy some country time on our property in Citrus County
